Providence Baptist Church joins Mt. Zion Baptist Church each year to celebrate a combined Thanksgiving service. The service alternates between churches each year with the pastors providing the sermon to the opposite church. The Community Thanksgiving service is held on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
The Choirs from both churches join together to become a Community Choir to sing praises to the Lord in Thanksgiving at the service. Anyone who wishes to join, whether they are a member of the respective choirs are welcome.
